Concept Main Idea :

Acting as a BootStrap*, being the bridge between potential technologies and markets and being the interface between software, hardware vendors and the local channels.

- Find new technologies neither imported nor distributed in Europe,
- Find technologies already distributed but not in the best way (software or hardware vendors not satisfied with current channel partners),
- Negotiate distribution agreement with Software and hardware vendors,
- Be trained on a timely fashioned way and then offer sales and pre-sales training to local partners (could be distributor or its channel partners) acting as a technology or product evangelist.


Why?

- General managers do not often have the time to seek for new technologies or best to market products.
- General managers do not often have enough technical background to understand technology, benefits, positioning or potential.
- Sometimes language barriers.


How?

- A monthly fee defined on a yearly agreement (like PR agency do).
- Expenses like traveling and lodging.
- Specific expenses approved prior issuing.
- Eventually a defined percentage of sales.



* A BootStrap is a paradoxical means of getting started on something where you need some of that something in order to get started. It signifies a recursive dynamic to that something, and when it works it does so only because there is, finally, a non-recursive path to follow.
